Knox 6 Pack rucksack, £44.99
Tester: Liam Marsden
Time tested: 20,000 miles/three years
What’s good? This has stood three years’ daily abuse and is still going strong. The main compartment is roomy and the two side pockets are ideal for wallets, phones, etc. The included laptop case and visor pouch are excellent features that set this bag apart. The straps on the outside can store a helmet, but it puts the weight too far back. For an everyday bag for use on the commute it’s spot on.
What’s not? The chest and waist straps put too much weight on your shoulders and back over longer distances. The front opening makes it difficult to pack stuff in and close the bag, and the back should be padded to stop the contents stabbing into the rider’s back.
