Tyre Review: Bridgestone T30 tyres

Bridgestone T30 tyres, £200 approx
Tester: Andy Downes
Miles/time: 2400 miles/two months
What’s good: These slot into Bridgestone’s range as sports touring tyres for road riders who cover big mileage in all conditions; a role in which they excel. The T30s replace the BT023 and are a huge improvement. I’ve used them on my Ducati Multistrada 1200 and they gave huge confidence in freezing weather and lashing rain. Dry performance has been a revelation since temperatures rose to 10°C. They warm up fast, grip very well under hard braking and are great in corners. They’ve covered 2400 miles, yet still look new.
What’s not: Nothing yet, although initial confusion with Bridgestone about pressures saw me running the rear with too much psi, which revealed that they’re sensitive to correct pressures.
