Bikes for sale

There are over 14,000 bikes for sale on our site, so you're sure to find something that meets your wants and needs. These are the three bikes catching the eyes of Senior Reporter Jordan Gibbons this week, who's got the hots for Ducatis at the minute.

Ducati 749S £4,299

Seller says:

“2003/03, 13,871 Miles, Superb Ducati 749S in red that comes complete with all the original handbooks and service book with FSH, 3 keys plus the master key, recent pair of tyres just fitted, belt service at 10,900 miles, MOT till September 2017, this is the more desirable S model with shock and engine upgrades, this is a good looking 749 with great mileage and history file”

Jordan says:

“The 749 never really garnered the love of the 748 or the 848, but I’m a big lover of the Terblanche creation. The design was ahead of the curve, and perhaps a little too far for the time, but it looks as sharp as the latest crop of superbikes despite being 14 years old. This particular model has only covered 13,000 miles, comes with a full service history and a new pair of tyres.”

Ducati ST4S, £4,295

Seller says:

“Yellow, 4 owners, ST4S with Ohlins. Excellent condition, really is an exceptional example. None of the normal Ducati corrosion has obviously been kept out of the rain and looked after properly. Must be seen. HPI clear, only three former keepers, FSH, stamped service books, service sheets, old MOT certificates. MOT until May 2017. Ducati side luggage, Ventura rack, carbon rear hugger, Sil motor carbon cans, good tyres, Ducati sculpted seat.”

Jordan says:

“The ST range was Ducati’s answer to Honda's VFR, although it never achieved the same sales success. Although some consider the ST3 a better bike, the ST4 is powered by the 996 engine. What’s more, this is the S version so it’s got Ohlins suspension. Sure the headlight is a bit ugly but you can’t see that when you ride it and boy what a sportstourer it was.”

Ducati Monster 696, £4,500

Seller says:

“Stunning low mileage 696+, as new, immaculate. 2 female owners. Termis with ECU, bikini, R&G mushrooms, new battery, optimate lead, FSH, belts changed at 2,547. MOT to end June, 6 months tax.”

Jordan says:

"The Monster has become a motorcycling icon and the small capacity bikes are great fun to ride as you can thrash the little motor without being drowned in power. The 696 Monsters all come with a slipper clutch as standard, while the radial Brembos offer some serious stopping power. This particular one is clean as a whistle, has full service history and has Termignoni cans."
