Vuillemin wins again. Stewart makes history

David Vuillemin romped to what looked an easy victory in the 250 class of the American Supercross series in front of a 68,000-strong crowd in San Diego on Saturday night. Jeremy McGrath took another night off.

Travis Pastrana was second with Mike LaRocco third and Ricky Carmichael fourth.

In the 125s, 15-year-old James ” Bubba ” Stewart made history by becoming the youngest to win a 125 Main. It was only his second supercross in his first season as a pro. Rodrig Thain finished second, with Ivan Tedesco third.
