Carmichael continues dominance at Mt Morris

Ricky Carmichael made it three wins in a row at Mt Morris in Pennsylvania last weekend. He hasn’t lost a race this season, and holds a 28 point lead over teammate Sebastien Tortelli, who took second place.

Kawasaki’s Ezra Lusk claimed his first podium of the year with his third place.

James Stewart’s near-perfect record came to an end in the 125cc races however. He crashed in practice, but managed to get a creditable fourth in the first 125 race. In the second a collision with Mike Brown ruled both riders out.

The 125 winner was Chad Reed, who not only beat Stewart to the East Region Supercross championship, but also now leads him in the 125 Motocross championship as well. Second was Branden Jesseman, and Eric Sorby was third.
