Jefferies funeral on Friday

The family of TT legend David Jefferies, who died two weeks ago in a practice session at the Isle of Man TT, has announced that his funeral will be held this Friday in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

An open service will be held at Noon at St. Peters church, Moorhead Lane, followed by a private cremation for the family only.

After the church service mourners are invited to the Hollins Hall Hotel, Baildon, for drinks.

The family has requested that no flowers be sent, instead donations in memory of the Suzuki rider should be made to the ACU Benevolent Fund, ACU House, Wood Street, Rugby, CV21 2YX.
