Gobert goes back to MX

1 of 1

Australian superbike racer Anthony Gobert is set to make a dirt comeback in the Maxxis Australian Motocross Championship this weekend.

The former World Superbike, AMA Superbike and Grand Prix rider switched to road-racing ten years ago, but held the Australian 125 Supercross championship, and 17 Australian Junior titles before moving to onto Tarmac. But Gobert is also remembered as a ‘wildchild’, culminating in a suspension from GPs for drug use.

Do you think Gobert made the most of his talent? Should he have stuck with dirt racing? Discuss Gobert’s comeback, and motocross in general, here.
