Yamaha release Clarke

1 of 1

The Virgin Mobile Yamaha team has released Kieran Clarke from his team duties in the run up to Cadwell Park, focusing on remaining riders Tommy Hill and Billy McConnell.

The reasons for the split were given in an official statement:

“Kieran has struggled to regain his confidence after a disastrous 2005 season and a winter testing crash. The team has supported Kieran throughout and worked very closely with him to try and regain the pace we know he is capable of.”
