Ryuichi Kiyonari has shown a return to form by posting the fastest time in the second pracice session at Mallory Park.

The Japanese HM Plant rider posted a fastest lap of 56.073 to head Airwaves Ducati’s Leon Haslam by 0.205 seconds. Michael Rutter was third quickest for Stobart Honda with 56.381, followed by fellow Honda riders Karl Harris and Jonathan Rea. Gregorio Lavilla was sixth fastest. Cal Crutchlow heads the second British Supersport free practice session for the mallory Park round of British Superbikes.

The Northpoint Ekerold Honda rider lapped the circuit in 57.361 to put himself ahead of Red Bull Honda’s Eugene Laverty. Tom Sykes is third fastest from Leon Camier and Joe Dickinson. To see the full time sheet, click here.

First practice sessions:

Michael Rutter has posted the fastest time in the first practice session for the Mallory Park round of the British Superbike championship.

Rutter posted a time of 56.550 to head an all-Honda top three, with the HM Plant duo of Karl harris and Ryuichi Kiyonari taking second and third fastest times in the session. Leon Haslam was the only non-Honda in the top five as Jonathan Rea took fifth spot on the Red Bull Honda, while reigning champion Gregorio Lavilla was sixth fastest.
