British rider Christian Iddon is second in the World Champion Supermoto standings following the Austrian GP.

Iddon tried hard on the AC Aprilia to challenge the winner of the latest round, German KTM rider Bernd Hiemer, but had to settle for third in the first race behind Husqvarna’s Gerland Delepine, before moving up one place for the second moto. The second race saw Iddon challenge hard for the lead, finishing close behind Hiemer. The S2 class win went to Thierry van den Bosch from fellow frenchmen Frederic Bolley and Sylvain Bidart.
