North West on May 13

Race day for the North West 200 is Saturday May 13, 2006, not the 19th as incorrectly listed in MCN’s 2006 events guide – distributed with the March 1 issue of the paper.

The date has been chose to run a week before the Irish round of the British Superbike Championship at Mondello Park, Dublin.

Race Week will begin on Sunday May 7 with a charity walk and roads will close on Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th practice nights at 5pm and on Race Day at 10am, with the first race at 11am. The programme consists two Superbike races, a Superstock race, two FIM Supersport 600cc races, a 125/400cc and a 250cc class.
