Supersport Cup champion Pete Spalding maintained his 100 per cent winning record at the British Superbike finale at Brands Hatch on October 1, 2006, despite a major crash in practice, pictured right.

The tumble destroyed his 2006 bike, forcing him to swap to his back-up 2005 machine, but Spalding was still able to finish sixth overall in the Supersport race. We thought you might want to see the sequence as things went a little bit wrong.
