MCN MotoGP reporter Matt Birt spends his days, nights and weekends getting to know the GP world better than anyone. Now he’s sharing the experiences of being a top GP reporter with a new blog.

Whatever happens at this stage it seems certain well be witnessing a dramatic final round shoot-out in Valencia next month.

The plan on arrival in KL will be the usual, check into the hotel, have a quick shower and then sleep for a couple of hours before trying to get the body clock on an even keel ready to be at the track and fully functioning on Thursday morning. I might have to have a sneaky peak in Chinatown on Wednesday night though, which is always rammed with paddock people scouting for a bargain. Always good to get the Xmas shopping done early! Oh well, still eight hours to go so I’m off to catch a snooze. Later M”
