World sidecars at Brands

World Sidecars have clinched a championship round at Brands Hatch – sharing the billing with the DTM, the European-based touring car series.

The meeting on June 10/11 gives Sidecar World Champions Tim and Tristan Reeves a chance to race on their home circuit.

The duo from Tenterden, Kent have won the World Sidecar title for the last two years and will return to the track that driver, Tim, describes as one of his favourites:

He said: “It’s absolutely fantastic. Seeing as we’re local it means a lot to us to be there, and to be racing with the DTM is brilliant – it’s a great opportunity to race in front of a big crowd.

“The Indy circuit is one of my favourite tracks. It’s great because with the natural amphitheatre everyone can see everything, they don’t miss out on any of the action. With so many people watching, it’s going to be a fantastic atmosphere!”
