Triumph 675's first South African pole

My son Liam races a Triumph 675 in our 600 superstock class.The bike won its 1st race – the South African tourist trophy, a 3-hour endurance race in December. Liam, who is 17, does all the preparation and set-up of the bike himself. Last week at Phakisa he got his 1st pole and a 5th for the day after a hard-fought battle where 3rd to 9th were within 1 sec at the line. The bike is now less than a second off the times of the national factory bikes. It has done 6500kms all at flat-out racing speed without missing a beat. All in all, very good fun.
