AIM Yamaha has parted company with Ian Hutchinson, due to this the team will not be competiting in the Ulster GP.

Hutchinson stepped down because he thought he was not doing the team justice in short circuit racing, as he failed to make any impact in the British Supersport championship.

19-year-old David Paton will replace Hutchinson, after he proved himself at Knockhill in place of Steve Plater.

Both Plater and Paton will be racing at the Cadwell Park BSB round on August 25.

Paton made an impressive start on the Yamaha R6 at Knockhill, qualifying on the front row of the grid. He settled in to seventh place during the race, but a problem with the motorbike forced him to retire.
