Brendan Roberts gets a chance on Buildbase Ducati

Brendan Roberts first chance to ride the Buildbase Ducati 1098 were in far from ideal conditions but he and the team made dramatic progress. 

2006 National Superstock champion Brendan Roberts is the factory Xerox Ducati rider in the European Superstock championship on a similar 1098 but he’s also going to ride the Buildbase bike in the remaining National championship as there are no clashes.

Brendan Roberts, who was at the British superbike test at Croft today, said: “It’s surprising how different the bike is to the Xerox bike but they are set up for completely different tracks.”

Roberts is still suffering from a right wrist injury but said the wet conditions which require a less aggressive riding style, made it a lot less painful to manoeuvre the bike around.
