Kiyo: a true gent

1 of 1

I have just returned from Donington after my first BSB experience and felt compelled to write to you guys on one particular topic. KIYONARI. I have never met a more patient, well mannered, genuine, humble, sporting person who quite literally made sure all who wanted an autograph or picture got it. Both on the Saturday but more amazing an hour before race one on sunday he could be found signing from the back of the team truck with a smile. None of the the other riders could be seen, bar Leon Camier. I understand that many of the riders are going through their pre-race rituals, however maybe they should take a leaf out of the book of a rider who has quite literally more skill in his left kneeslider than half the so called ‘big guns’. I came over from Northern Ireland a Rea fan and went home a Kiyo one. He is a gent and a credit to bike racing the world over.
