Brands Hatch British Supersport: Hudson Kennaugh to start from pole

1 of 1

After a less than emphatic first day on practice, Hudson Kennaugh appears to have found a winning setup up jumping from 17th in the first free practice session from yesterday up to the front in the second qualifying period.

Kennaugh, who had a brief spell in British Superbikes with Virgin Yamaha this year, has put his Raceways Yamaha on pole for tomorrow’s race with a hugely impressive 1.32.802.

One man who has remained at the top of the time sheets for the entire weekend is Glen Richards – his first race weekend on the MAP Embassy Racing Triumph 675.

John McGuiness secured the third spot on the front row on his Padgetts Honda ahead of the surprise package of the weekend Chris Fitzpatrick, riding the BLDS Yamaha Cup bike, who is a Brands Hatch specialist and been at the sharp end of the times all weekend.
