Extra BSB races at Oulton and Brands

Two of the 2009 British Superbike Championship rounds will feature a new-look three race BSB format – boosting the series to 26 races over the 12 championship rounds.

Series organisers MSVR have selected the events at Brands Hatch on Aug 7/8/9 and Oulton Park on Oct 9/10/11 where the BSB class will have three Championship races over the weekend but the final race programme for these two meetings is yet to be finalised. 

The most likely format will be one race on Saturday and two on Sunday. It is envisaged that full TV broadcast coverage will be in place for the Saturday race(s). 
At all other championship rounds there will be two races for the BSB class which will result in a twenty-six race championship at twelve events.
