Crutchlow put in an impressive performance despite suffering from a nasty dislocation on his ankle that has left him with two severed tendons.
Crutchlow lead the majority of the race until he ran wide on lap sixteen letting Byrne and Sykes slip through and leaving him to take third at the flag.
Leon Haslam took fourth place spending most of the race fighting with Leon Camier until the Airwaves Ducati rider almost ran in to the back of Haslam and had to take to the grass on lap 10 leaving Haslam safe in 4th.
