Firestar back Moto Rapido

Firestar Energy is backing Scott Smart’s Moto Rapido Ducati 1198S in the National Superstock series for the rest of 2009 season and 2010 when the team will be expanded to two riders.  

Moto Rapido team manager Steve Moore said: “We are delighted to have Firestar on board. Securing extra funding for a team is always good news, but what makes this particularly interesting is that like us, Firestar is a new company that shares our drive, ambitions and enthusiasm.  

“Of course these are tough times but there are still plenty of ways to make sure that the British Superbike Championship and its support classes remain at the forefront of promoting exciting new products and technology.”
