Knockhill BSB: Race 2 abandoned due to bad weather

1 of 1

The second British Superbike race at Knockhill has been abandoned today due to adverse weather conditions.

The race was started but red flagged after MSS Colchester Kawasaki rider Simon Andrews came off and caused a pile-up involving David Johnson, Aaron Zanotti, Andrew Pitt, Gary Johnson and Chris Walker.

Before the race got going again weather conditions worsened and the decision was made to postpone in the interests of safety.

The race will now take place at the Snetterton BSB round in two weeks time, making it a triple bill.
