Oulton Park BSB: Hill takes victory from Haga

Swan Yamaha rider Tommy Hill saw off team-mate Noriyuki Haga to win an eight lap sprint at Oulton Park today.

Australian Josh Brookes finished third onboard the Tyco Suzuki.

The race was red flagged when John Kirkham crashed at Water Tower suffering heavy concussion. Brookes led from the restart, but Haga took to the front of the pack on the third lap, leading in BSB for the first time in his career.

Hill took the lead on lap six, with two laps remaining of the short sprint race.
