MCN’s top ten BSB riders: 6th

1 of 1

With all the dust settled on yet another highly competitive year in the MCE British Superbike championship, MCN have taken the opportunity to look back on the season and sort our top ten riders – based on more than just race results!

6th: Dan Linfoot

  • Championship position: 5th
  • Wins: 0
  • Podiums: 1

Dan Linfoot has long been threatening a breakout year in BSB, and 2014 was the year that it finally happened. Taking his first podium success as well as proving that he’s got what it takes to run at the front, he made his mark on the series.

Riding a Quattro Plant Kawasaki of nowhere near the same spec as his front-running opposition, Linfoot nonetheless made the point that he was deserving of a place in the big leagues, running in the regular leading group of Byrne, Kiyonari and the Milwaukee Yamahas with ease.

His performances haven’t gone unnoticed either, and he’s been rewarded with a full factory Honda for next season, which may just give him the boost he needs to be a title contender.
