Brazilian Lo Turco to remain in BSB

Brazilian rider Rhalf Lo Turco will remain in the MCE British Superbike Championship for his second season, with the former Triumph Triple Cup champion being supported by Brazilian motorcycle accessories company Jeskap.

The 39 year old, whose SBK City Racing Kawasaki has kept no one guessing to his nationality in 2014, is now hoping to build on a steady end to last season as he attempts to become a regular top 20 runner.

“Last year we all learnt a lot and towards the second part of the season we managed to make some really good improvements and that showed in my lap times and race finishes, particularly at Donington Park and the last round at Brands Hatch.

“The final round of the year was one of the highlights for me as I finished ahead of some quality teams and experienced riders. That was like the icing on the cake for me, even though I haven’t managed to score points, I still think we have got both a good team and bike, and as a rider I improved a lot ahead of 2015.

“I am training harder and will be more focused than ever to try and improve again this year and hopefully having some more support too will help me achieve the results we are aim for. For me it is a privilege to be part of the Championship as I know there are many riders who would like to be in my position. I will try my best to not disappoint anyone involved and best of all have the best time of my life racing against some of the best riders in the world.”
