Assen first qualifying

Three Italians head the MotoGP first qualifying time sheets, with Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi and Lori Capirossi all posting two-minute laps.

The trio are covered by just 0.2 seconds from Rossi in first, to Capirossi in third. Alex Barros is in fourth, with Colin Edwards in fifth.
