After the first wet day of testing at Valencia in Spain, Troy Bayliss has gone fastest on the Honda RC211V.

Nicky hayden was also working alone for the Respol Honda team, as Max Biaggi is still out with a broken ankle, while Makoto Tamada is the sole rider for the Konica Mintola team this season.
