Suzuki unveiled the 2005 GSV-R MotoGP machine in its race livery at Bridgestone’s New Year Reception in Tokyo.

The launch was held in partnership with the tyre firm which will supply Suzuki during the coming season, with the bike’s racing debut on April 10 in Jerez in Spain. The paintscheme includes the Suzuki corporate colours, and has been inspired from previous Suzuki racers, including the World Championship-winning RGV of Kevin Schwantz.

“It looks fantastic, in my opinion,” said team manager Paul Denning. “I’m proud to be associated with such a great looking motorcycle. It’s significant the new design was revealed at Bridgestone’s headquarters, demonstrating the close links between Bridgestone and Suzuki.”
