Zanetti gets GP ride

Lorenzo Zanetti has signed for the Skilled ISPA Racing Team to compete in the 125cc world championship in 2006.

The 18-year-old Italian competed in several races in 2005, finishing the season in 17th place, with 30 points. His best place was fifth at the Czech Republic, and he’ll hope to do even better with two official Aprilia machines for the coming season.

Skilled ISPA is the official banner of Fontana racing, with who he raced in 2005. Zanetti will test at the start of February at the Monmelo circuit, before travelling to the official tests at Cataunya and Jerez in March.
