1 of 1

Hector Barbera will miss the Catalunya GP this weekend after he fractured his right wrist while training on a mountain bike.

The Fortuna Aprilia 250cc GP rider was riding through the Alcoy area of Spain when he fell and suffered the injury in trying to break his fall. He’ll undergo surgery at the Institut Dexeus de Barcelona to have a titanium plate and screws inserted to help the healing process. He’s also expected to miss the Dutch GP at Assen due to the injury.
