Lorenzo stays top 250

Jorge Lorenzo has stayed top of the time sheets for the 250cc GP class on the second day of testing at Jerez.

Despite cold and windy conditions, he was able to lap with a time of 1:42.873 on his Fortuna Aprilia, and became the only rider to break the one minute, 43 second barrier at the test.

Second quickest was Alex de Angelis with 1:43.326, followed by Hector Barbera on 1:43.541. It was the final day of testing for the 250GP machines, as the MotoGP class takes to the track for three days of testing from Friday, March 10.
