Valentino Rossi is back behind four-wheels again this weekend competing in the Rally of Monza.

Seven-time World Champion Rossi will drive a factory-spec Subaru and his co-driver will once again be Carlo Cassina after the pair finished a sensational 11th in the WRC Rally of New Zealand event last week.

The Italian finished second in the Monza race last year, beating former world rally champion and bike racing fan Colin McRae.

The Rally of Monza is not a full rally though the event uses some of the famous Italian circuit.

Camel Yamaha team boss Davide Brivio is also contesting the rally before Rossi turns his focus back to two wheels to continue the task of regaining the MotoGP world crown.

He will make his fourth appearance on Yamaha’s new 800cc contender next week in Jerez before the seven-week winter testing ban kicks in on December 1.
