Pedrosa testing setback

Dani Pedrosa’s winter testing schedule has taken a knock after he was forced to abandon plans to join a major three-day MotoGP test in Malaysia this week.

Pedrosa has had an operation on his left arm, to help cure the recurrence of arm pump problems he experienced this year after his move up to MotoGP. He had a similar operation on his right arm before he moved to the class.

He had ben due to test the new 800cc RC212V at Sepang alongside most of the other big teams, instead it’s likely he will now test towards the end of November in Jerez. Repsol team-mate and 2006 world champion Nicky Hayden will continue to test as planned.
