Pasini on provisional 125 pole

Polaris World rider Mattia Pasini is on provisional pole for Sunday’s Turkish 125 GP after setting the quickest time in qualifying practice one.

Pasini recorded a best time of 2:05.739 on his Aprilia and will be desperate to improve on his two non finishes so far this season.

Gabor Talmacsi was second quickest in Istanbul this morning (Friday) just 0.238 seconds behind Pasini with Tomoyoshi Koyama 0.573 further behind on his Red Bull KTM 125.

Completing this provisional front row is Skilled Racing Team’s Simone Corsi.

Britain’s Bradley Smith was in 10th following his positive start to the weekend in the first practice session.
