Kawasaki: Fuel no problems

1 of 1

Kawasaki bosses have confirmed they have no worries about the new fuel capacity regulations that will come into force for the 2007 MotoGP world championship.

Tank capacity has been cut from 22 to 21 litres and there had been fears that in some races fuel consumption will be one of the most critical issues.

But Kawasaki boss Ichiro Yoda has said the new ZX-RR has no concerns.

He said: “We don’t have any worries about fuel consumption. For example in Malaysia we rode 21 laps which is race distance, and we still had two litres left in the tank.

“Every time we do a long run the minimum fuel left in the tank is one litre, ”added Yoda.
