Provisional MotoGP winter testing schedule released

The 2007 MotoGP world championship may have only just reached the halfway stage, but plans are already well underway for next year’s series.

Eight winter tests are scheduled for MotoGP teams on a provisional winter testing calendar given to MCN, Plans for the 2008 MotoGP world championship will kick off immediately after the final round of the season in Valencia. The test will take place over one-and-a-half days on Tuesday November 6 and Wednesday November 7.

The Valencia test session is likely to see a host of riders making their first appearance on new machinery, with only Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden and Casey Stoner having deals in place for 2008 at the moment.
