Valencia MotoGP: Mika Kallio on pole for 250cc GP finale

Mika Kallio has secured pole position for the 250cc GP at the final round of the 2007 championship at Valencia.

It’s the second pole position of 2007 for Kallio, as the 25-year-old Finnish KTM rider heads Jorge Lorenzo, Yuki Takahashi and Marco Simoncelli. Row two is an all-Spanish line-up of Hector Barbera, Alvaro Bautista, Julian Simon and Alex Debon.

Ireland’s Eugene Laverty qualified in 25th on the LCR Honda from a field of 28 riders.
