Former world MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi said on Friday he would be interesting in riding for Ducati in 2009 if his Yamaha bike does not improve next season.
Ducati's Casey Stoner raced away with the title this season with Rossi finishing third in the standings, the first time he has finished outside the top two in any category since his rookie season in 1996. Italian Rossi will stick with Yamaha next season but has given the team one last chance a clear warning not too be taken lightly. "If it gets better I can wait another year.
If not there is nothing left to do," Rossi said... "I have a good relationship with both (Ducati and Honda), but definitely I would prefer Ducati because they are Italian." As a Ducati fan, can i just say how amazing that would be... the dream team of Rossi and Stoner. Enough to make you moist.
