Estoril MotoGP: Casey Stoner heads morning warm-up

Championship leader Casey Stoner has rattled in the fastest time of this morning’s warm-up session, clocking a time a quarter of a second quicker than second quickest, Randy De Puniet.

Casey Stoner has lead the way for most of the weekend, topping time sheets over the last two days with the exception of yesterday’s qualifying session where he was knocked from the top by Nicky Hayden.

John Hopkins continued Suzuki’s great form with a third fastest time ahead of pole-sitter Hayden and his team-mate Dani Pedrosa.

Valentino Rossi set the sixth fastest time, 0.639 seconds slower than Stoner.
