Jerez MotoGP: Alex Debon fastest in first 250GP practice

Alex Debon was the man on the pace in the opening 250GP practice at Jerez this morning.

The Spaniard followed up fellow countryman Nicolas Terol’s performance in the 125 session at his home MotoGP to go fastest on his Aprilia with a 1:43.739.

Marco Simoncelli was the second fastest rider with a 1:44.209 on his Gilera while Finland’s Mika Kallio recorded a 1:44.229 to go third on his KTM.

Ireland’s Eugene Laverty was 20th on his Blusens Aprilia with a best lap of 1:47.024.
