1 of 1

Factory Ducati rider Casey Stoner will start from the front tomorrow after setting the fastest lap during qualifying in Qatar.

The Australian dominated the session, consistently setting the fastest time throughout. Fiat Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi came closest to Stoner, but couldn’t manage to beat his time, having to settle for second.

American Nicky Hayden will start from 16th on the grid after suffering a massive crash in the dying moments of the session.

Lone Brit James Toseland will start the race from 13th on the grid.
