Reigning MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has talked about the big threats to the defence of his crown, the impact of the credit crunch and Marco Simoncelli’s future prospects in a special video to mark the launch of Yamaha’s 2009 factory squad.

The Italian believes Casey Stoner will be his chief rival next season and he also explains his disappointment at not being able to set up a dream World Superbike showdown with triple champion Troy Bayliss in Qatar next month.
