German MotoGP results: Rossi wins after clash with Lorenzo

Valentino Rossi defended his world title successfully at the Sachsenring beating his team mate Jorge Lorenzo by just over a tenth of a second.

Rossi and Lorenzo left the pack behind by the 13th lap so the rest of the race was a battle for the top position between the two Yamaha riders.
