Still jubilant at Barcelona’s recent Champions League football success over Manchester United, Jorge Lorenzo will sport a special one-off helmet paintscheme for this weekend’s Catalunya MotoGP race.

Lorenzo, who is chasing a third win of 2009 in Sunday’s clash, is a huge fan of Barcelona and he attended the final in Rome last month as the Spanish giants beat Manchester United 2-0. And to make Barcelona’s success, he is sporting an FC Barcelona theme for the Catalunya race, which the 22-year-old unveiled today at the Montmelo circuit.

“I’m very proud to be here in the colours of my team. I was there in Rome for the final and watching Barca win was like a dream! I’m so happy to be able to show my support for them in this way at our home track, and I hope the fans will like it because I know many of them are also big Barcelona fans,” said the double world 250 champion.
