The new Inmotec 800cc MotoGP machine got its public debut in Valencia yesterday, with the ambitious squad revealing plans to compete in at least four races in 2010.

Speaking at a special launch of the new V4 project ahead of the season’s final race in Valencia, the team confirmed plans to debut the new bike at the Catalunya round in Barcelona next season.

Inmotec boss Oscar Gorria confirmed the project had been in progress since 2007 and that as well as the Catalunya race, further wild card appearances were planned in Misano, Brno and Valencia next year.

The Spanish-based team could also compete in the first ever race at the new Balatonring in Hungary.

The bike though is not expected to be tested immediately after this weekend’s season finale in Valencia.
