Century TV has won the contract to produce coverage of the MotoGP world championship for the BBC until the end of 2013 season.

Rohan Browning, Managing Director of Century TV, said: “We are delighted to have secured the BBC MotoGP contract.

“These are very exciting times for Century TV and as our production base continues to grow with our recent expansion into Northern Ireland, it is high profile projects such as the BBC MotoGP that will help to underpin and support this process.”

There has been no confirmation yet as to who will front the BBC coverage in 2011 but long-term commentators Steve Parrish and Charlie Cox already under contract. Matt Roberts is also understood to be returning in 2011.

The future of anchor Jennie Gow though remains unclear amid rumours that Suzi Perry has been contemplating a return to the paddock having opted to quit the Beeb’s coverage of MotoGP at the end of the 2009 campaign.
