Casey Stoner feeling relaxed for title assault

After an injury and surgery free winter, Australian rider Casey Stoner believes he’s much more relaxed and ready for a serious assault on the 2010 MotoGP world championship crown.

Stoner has been unable to properly train during the off-season in recent years because of shoulder and wrist problems.

And Stoner reckons he will return to action in Sepang early next month fired up and refreshed having combined his winter relaxing at home in Australia and at his European base in Switzerland.

He said:” To end the season so strong and without any problems and not recovering from injury or surgery has been really nice to have a refreshing off season and being able to do what I want and not having to nurse an injury.

“That’s probably the biggest difference for me. I’ve been able to get out on my bicycle a lot and my training is going a lot better than it has done in the past and I’m really looking forward to the season and getting ready for it.”
