Toni Elias unconcerned by slow MotoGP return

Moto2 world champion Toni Elias insisted he’s not worried after making an inauspicious return to MotoGP in Valencia recently.

The Spaniard was last and close to three seconds off the pace on his premier class comeback with the LCR Honda squad.

He was over a second adrift of rookie Karel Abraham in 16th but said: “I am not worried about this result. I just took it calm to get used to the power and the electronics of the MotoGP bike again. I know I will be competitive again next year in MotoGP.”
