Jerez MotoGP: Cortese takes 125GP pole

German Sandro Cortese will start from pole poisition for tomorrow’s 125GP race at Jerez after beating Nicolas Terol to pole position in the last minute of today’s qualifying session.

Terol’s team-mate Hector Faubel qualified third to take the last place on the front row.

Efren Vasquez heads the second row, ahead of Johan Zarco and Luis Salom.

Danny Kent starts as the highest placed Brit in 11th, with Taylor Mackenzie and Danny Webb in 15th and 19th respectively. Harry Stafford qualified 27th, suffering with a broken hand.
